The Primetime Emmy^® nominations are in! The Walt Disney Company has received a total of 145 Primetime Emmy^® Award nominations in 2020 and ABC received 36 - which is up from 26 last year. Acting nominations went to a couple of familiar faces from the "black-ish" cast and there were also nods for guest stars on several ABC shows. Find out who we're talking about below! ABC's Oscars^® telecast earned nine nominations; "black-ish," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," and "Live in Front of a Studio Audience: 'All in the Family' and 'Good Times'" all earned four. Well, the "72nd Emmy® Awards" will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, who returns for the third time and will also be serving as executive producer for television's biggest night. The show will be broadcast, SUNDAY, SEPT. 20 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EDT/5:00-8:00 p.m. PDT), on ABC. Previously, Kimmel hosted both the 64th and 68th Emmy Awards.
