Floriana Lima recently joined the cast of ABC's drama "A Million Little Things." The show returns for its third season this fall and follows a group of friends from Boston who bond under unexpected circumstances. Most recently, Lima was seen in the second season of Netflix and Marvel's "The Punisher." The show centers on Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle, a vigilante known as "the Punisher" who uses lethal methods to fight crime.
In 2016, Lima joined Melissa Benoist in The CW's hit show "Supergirl" from Greg Berlanti. Lima starred as special crimes investigator Maggie Sawyer, one of the first openly gay characters in mainstream comics. The role was only meant for the second season but continued through part of the third season. That year, Lima also starred on ABC's thriller "The Family" with Joan Allen, Alison Pill and Zack Gilford. She also appeared on FOX's "Lethal Weapon" with Damon Waynes and Jordana Brewster.
Lima's television credits also include "How I Met Your Mother," "House," The CW's "Melrose Place," USA Network's "In Plain Sight," TNT's "Franklin and Bash," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Ghost Whisperer."
Lima is also passionate about nonprofit work and has dedicated her time to LollipopTheatre.org, Art Feeding Families, Stories From Tomorrow and Every Mother Counts. A native of Ohio, Lima studied journalism at Ohio State University and now resides in Los Angeles with her rescue dog, Belly.
