Growing up in Portland, Oregon, Elisha Henig fell in love with acting after taking an acting class at the age of 8, and made his debut performance as Richard the Third at the end-of-class demo. He was then cast as young Wilbur in a local production of Charlotte's Web, and then in a co-lead role in the original play The Snowstorm, for which he won the Portland Best Young Performer Drammy award. At the age of 10, he started appearing in television roles, including guest appearances on Grey's Anatomy, Rizzoli & Isles, Code Black, Transparent and Mr. Robot.
Henig enjoys soccer, golf, rock climbing, reading, writing, cooking, magic, music and guitar playing. He is an avid fan of the Portland Timbers soccer team and the band Weezer, as well as The Minions. He is a member of the Portland indie rock band Boys without Toys, together with his three brothers.
