02:51 | 12.18.19 | NR | CC
Lindsay Wildlife Experience has teamed up with engineers to create the Burrowing Owl Prosthetic Project. Pueo is an eight-year-old burrowing owl who was born and raised in captivity. Unfortunately, Pueo lost the bottom half of her leg in a suspected animal attack. Rehabilitation specialists and engineers are now working together to develop a prosthetic for Pueo.
