The Top 5 OMG Moments of the Season
The first season of Bachelor in Paradise was supposed to be full of the romance and drama we’ve come to expect from the Bachelor Franchise. Considering there’s been a pretty high level of drama on these shows lately, that was a tall order, but this new show has delivered.
There’s been a ton of drama already -- and that was before Chris Harrison told the remaining love-seekers that “Tomorrow, everything is about to change here in paradise.” Which, by the way… WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, CHRIS?!? Are you swapping couples? Taking away all their food? Replacing the men with rabid wolverines? We know as much as you do, folks, which is basically just that whatever this big change is, it ends up making a lot of people in the house very nervous:
But before we dive into the sure-to-be exciting finale (which may or may not require all the contestants to dress up as pilgrims and reenact the first thanksgiving? AAAAHHH WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL US MORE, HARRISON!), we present a list of OMG moments of the season thus far. We had plenty to pick from, but these are our faves.
5. Christy’s Change of Heart
Jesse wasn’t in paradise for long, but he certainly left his mark. In this bleep-filled clip, Christy goes from calling him serious boyfriend material to a douchebag in about two minutes of air time. That must be some sort of record.
4. Ben Has a Girlfriend
Ben was accused of being on The Bachelorette for the wrong reasons, but now on Bachelor in Paradise he has a girlfriend! Hooray, someone on the show found love! Take that, cynics! Wait, what’s that? His girlfriend isn’t someone on the show? So, uh... yeah. Carry on.
3. Kalon Loves Kalon
None of the ladies in the house wanted to join Kalon for a 1-on-1 date spelunking to an underground lake, but did that stop Kalon? No. Because the love of his life was right there waiting for him the whole time.
2. Chris’s Rose Ceremony Shocker
People said a lot of things about Chris on this show, but “romantic” was not one of them. And then he went and proved everybody wrong.
1. The Insane Adventure of Michelle and Ryan
Forbidden love, slammed doors, daring escapes, and hospital visits. This little gem has all the drama and intrigue we could ask for. (Get well soon, Ryan!)
