Dance-heavy "black-ish" Promo to Air During Oscars
This year, black-ish is heading to the Oscars!
But don’t look for the Johnson clan on the red carpet. Instead, they’ll be coming at you from a special promo airing during the award show telecast on Sunday, February 22.
The Johnsons will pay tribute to memorable dance moments from movies with young Jack Johnson—A.K.A. professional dancer Miles Brown—accepting his family’s challenge to recreate classic dance routines. Think Footloose, Flashdance and even Fred Astaire’s classic dancing-up-the-wall move from Royal Wedding.
But we’ve got to warn you, guys: little Jack is pretty freaking cute. So cute, in fact, that you may not be able to handle the pint-sized powerhouse’s sweet, sweet dance moves. Heck, it’s hard to resist his charms when he’s merely batting those mile-long lashes at you, as evidenced by Rainbow Johnson’s (Tracee Ellis Ross) near meltdown when he comes at her with an onslaught of cuteness in the "Crime and Punishment" episode of black-ish:
