Get a full recap of the "Boy Bands vs. Girl Groups" extravaganza right here as we take a look at how the remaining Dancing with the Stars 2017 cast did during another night of dancing fun. Fittingly, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter sat in for Julianne at the judges' table this week. At the end of the evening, we had to say goodbye to Heather Morris in the most shocking elimination of the season! Let's take a look at the DWTS Results and Eliminations for Week 6 right after checking out the two awesome team dances.
TEAM BOY BAND (8-9-8-8 - TOTAL: 33)
TEAM GIRL GROUP (8-9-8-9 - TOTAL: 34)
Simone Biles and Sasha Farber did a Samba to "Survivor" by Destiny's Child. Len thought the choreography was clever. Bruno didn't feel the timing wasn't as perfect as it usually is with this team. Carrie Ann called Simone a powerful performer. Scores of 9, 8, 9, 9 from the judges for a total of 35.
Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess did a Rumba to "I Want It That Way" from the Backstreet Boys. Bruno felt the movement was a little jagged at times. Carrie Ann loved that the team was in sync for a solid Rumba. Nick wants Bonner to "let go" with his dancing. Len wanted a little more fluidity. It wasn't Bonner's best dance, but it wasn't his worst either. Scores of 8-8-7-7 from the judges for a total of 30.
Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev did a Paso to "Free Your Mind" from En Vogue. Carrie Ann liked how Nancy found her way during the dance. Nick's mind was blown by this one. Bruno thought Nancy unleashed the beast tonight. Scores of 9-8-8-8 from the judges for a total of 33.
Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd did a Jive to "Fun, Fun, Fun" by the Beach Boys. Nick C. wants Nick V. to work on the moves a little more. Len said the dance was fun but it lacked polish and finesse. Bruno loved the great effort he saw. Carrie Ann can see Nick enjoying the process, but she added there's still work to be done. Scores of 7-7-7-7 from the judges for a total of 28.
Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy did a Salsa to "When I Grow Up" by the Pussycat Dolls. Len thought the dance showcased what a great dancer Normani is but it didn't showcase the Salsa. Bruno felt Normani nailed every move. Carrie Ann thought her lines were perfection. Nick's only advice was to stay the course and don't look back. Scores of 10-10-8-10 from the judges for a total of 38.
David Ross and Lindsay Arnold did an Argentine Tango to "I Want You Back" by *NSYNC. Carrie Ann thought David didn't seem himself tonight but appreciated how he tried to do a true Argentine Tango. Nick can tell that David is a fighter. Len felt that David performed well under enormous pressure. Scores of 7-8-7-7 from the judges for a total of 29.
Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater did a Tango to "Reach Out I'll Be There" by the Four Tops. Carrie Ann felt the beginning of the routine was perfection. Len appreciated the attack even though Rashad lost a little bit of control when he got too excited. Bruno declared that Rashad has plenty of talent. Scores of 9-10-9-9 from the judges for a total of 37. (Get Emma's gorgeous DWTS glow now.)
Heather Morris and Maksim Chmerkovskiy (back from the disabled list!) did a Rumba to "Waterfalls" by TLC. Nick called it his favorite dance of the night. Len said the routine had lovely leg action and that it was a knockout. Bruno said, "It was like watching Kim Basinger in Dancing with the Stars: Confidential. Carrie Ann agreed with Nick that it was the best dance of the night. Scores of 10-10-10-10 for the first perfect 40 of the season!
In the most shocking elimination of the season so far, Heather and Maks had to bid adieu ballroom. See their Week 6 elimination here:
