Dancing with the Stars Celebrates The Jungle Book!

In celebration of the opening week of Disney’s live-action version of The Jungle Book, we thought we’d pay tribute to some of the wildest dances that came out of “Disney Night” on Dancing with the Stars 2016. The entire cast rocked the night with tributes to some truly classic films. But there were three routines that really caused some rumbles in the jungle. And, yes, one of them was a tribute to The Jungle Book. Thanks, Kim Fields! So, without further monkey business, let’s swing into the jungle for some wild fun!

Jungle Love Is Driving Me Mad: Kim Fields & Sasha Farber did the Quickstep to “I Wan’na Be Like You” from The Jungle Book. Len called it Kim’s best dance so far. Guest judge Zendaya loved how much fun she was having. Bruno called her the “fastest girl in the jungle” and praised her for keeping her shoulders under control. Four 8s from the judges came shortly after Kim did a nifty flying leap into Bruno’s arms.

Undressed for the Occasion: Nyle DiMarco & Peta Murgatroyd did a Samba to “Trashin’ the Camp” from Tarzan. The King of the Jungle felt right at home in the ballroom doing a fantastic flip to kick things off. Bruno said the loincloth-wearing Nyle was “perfectly undressed for the occasion” and dubbed him “Lord of the Dance.”

Hail to the King: Wanya Morris & Lindsay Arnold performed a Samba to “Circle of Life” from The Lion King. It was a ferocious routine that was full of attack and action. Bruno called him a “magnificent beast.” Get ready for some rip-roaring fun!
