Dancing with the Stars Receives 8 Emmy Nominations

ABC's Dancing with the Stars has again been recognized by the Television Academy and nominated in eight categories for The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Reality Competition Program! DWTS and fellow 2016 Emmy nominees were announced this morning by Anthony Anderson, star of ABC's Emmy-nominated black-ish, and actress Lauren Graham. Watch the announcements below and tune in SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 at 7e|4p when the Emmys, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, are live on ABC.  

DWTS's Emmy-winning host Tom Bergeron was nominated for the ninth time in the category of Outstanding Host of a Reality or Reality-Competition Program. While dancing pro and choreographer Derek Hough has also been recognized again in the category of Outstanding Choreography for his powerful routines to "Footprints in the Sand," "Grace Kelly," and "Cry Little Sister" with partner Bindi Irwin.

The show also received nominations in the categories of Outstanding Costumes for a Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Program for the Disney Night costumes, Outstanding Makeup for a Multi-Camera Series or Special (Non-Prosthetic) for Halloween Night, Outstanding Hairstyling for a Multi-Camera Series or Special for The Finals (Part 1), Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Series for The Finals (Part 2), and Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control for a Series for The Finals (Part 2).
