Nyle DiMarco and Von Miller Wow Judges with Dancing with the Stars 2016 Debut

It seems that no one impressed longtime Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba more during the Season 22 premiere than 2015 America's Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco. Nyle, who is partnered with professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd, is deaf, but there was no evidence that not being able to hear the music hampered his dancing at all.

"Are you for real?!" Bruno asked after Nyle and Peta's dance, bowled over by their performance. Nyle revealed through his interpreter that he cannot hear anything, so he relies on signals from his partner: "It's actually Peta, she's dancing to the music, I just follow her with my eyes." Len called the dance terrific, and Carrie Ann praised their great rhythm.

Nyle and Peta received a score of 23 out of 30 from the judges, tying with Ginger Zee & Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Wanya Morris & Lindsay Arnold for the top score of the night.

Super Bowl MVP and Denver Broncos star Von Miller and partner Witney Carson also earned headlines for their memorable Broncos-themed dance. Von's performance kicked off at a press table, with friends and teammates T.J. Ward, Duke Ihenacho, and Omar Bolden by his side. Von and Witney kicked it into high gear with a Foxtrot enlivened by a few touchdown dances.
