The Dancing with the Stars finale wrapped things up with the Dancing with the Stars winner, Laurie Hernandez, besting fellow finalists James Hinchcliffe and Calvin Johnson, Jr., and the rest of the Dancing with the Stars cast to bring home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy for Season 23. After a rousing opening number, lots of fabulous encore routines, musical performances and fusion dances from the finalists, Laurie Hernandez ended up as the winner for Dancing with the Stars Fall 2016. James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess (Fusion Dance - Viennese Waltz & Foxtrot): Len said he wished he could dance like James while Julianne wished she could dance with him. Bruno called James and artist of great versatility. Carrie Ann added that she felt the team made the perfect choice for their fusion dance. Scores of 10-10-10-10 from the judges for a perfect 40. Calvin Johnson, Jr. and Lindsay Arnold (Fusion Dance - Jive & Quickstep): Julianne called it the perfect fusion dance and it's been such a joy to watch Calvin. Bruno loved the charm in which Calvin presents his dances. Carrie Ann believes he has an X factor. Len described watching Calvin as chicken soup for the eyes.
