2020 Emmy Awards Nominations Announced

This morning, actress and comedian Leslie Jones hosted the announcement of the 2020 Emmy Awards nominations, joined by presenters Laverne Cox, Josh Gad and Tatiana Maslany. "Watchmen" led the nominees with a total of 26 nominations including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie (Jeremy Irons), Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie (Regina King) and Outstanding Limited Series. "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" followed with 20 nominations including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for star Rachel Brosnahan. "Ozark" and "Succession" were next with 18 total nominations each, followed by Disney Plus original series "The Mandalorian," "Saturday Night Live" and "Schitt's Creek" each with 15 total nominations. ABC garnered several nominations including Outstanding Lead Actor and Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for "black-ish" stars Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross, as well as Outstanding Variety Talk Series for "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," Outstanding Structured Reality Program for "Shark Tank" and Outstanding Variety Special (Live) for "Live In Front of a Studio Audience: 'All in the Family' and 'Good Times'."
