Forrest Wheeler (韋智林) has always strived for excellence in his many personal ventures, including martial arts, parkour, competitive volleyball, tennis and acting, to name a few. He competed in the 2014 U.S. Open ISKA World Martial Arts Championship, where he won seven first place trophies. He earned his first black belt in karate in 2015 and a second black belt in Extreme Martial Arts (XMA) in 2016.
At the age of 7, Wheeler turned his attention to the world of acting and making people laugh. Fittingly, one of his earliest acting roles was in the film The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, where he played a Cambodian boy who is presented a rabbit as a pet and takes it home to his family for dinner. His other acting roles include appearances on the hit television series Community, New Girl, Chasing Life and Sofia the First. He also appeared in the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy II, playing Young Kuai-Liang, and in the feature film comedy Such Good People. Entertainment Weekly recognized Wheeler in its article "12 Under 12: The Best Child Actors of 2015."
Demonstrating a passion for inspiring youth from all over the world to be active and curious, Wheeler collaborated with ISAtv/Wong Fu Productions to produce a web series called The Forrest Wheeler Adventures, in which he pursued his quest to learn what it takes to become an action hero.
When he is not filming and studying, Wheeler loves to participate in and advocate for charities benefiting children in need of medical or emotional attention.
