Actor Biography

Ray Wise is a veteran of TV, film and the stage. He has received much acclaim throughout his distinguished career from all areas of entertainment, including his memorable performance as troubled newsman Don Hollenbeck in the Warner Independent film Good Night, and Good Luck., written, directed and starring George Clooney.

Wise and his co-stars shared Best Ensemble Cast nominations at both the 2006 Critics' Choice Awards and Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award ceremonies. In 2015, he won the Daytime Emmy® for Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series for The Young and the Restless. On the New York front, he won the Obie Award for Sam Shepard's 1983 play The Tooth of Crime.

He recently starred opposite Bryan Cranston in All the Way and was seen in Netflix's revival of Gilmore Girls, as well as reprised his role on the reboot of Twin Peaks.

Wise lives in Southern California with his wife and children.
