GH Recap: It's New Years Eve in Port Charles: Week of December 28th
Robin and Patrick finally have a moment alone and Sam, having no idea Patrick is back enters his house with her key, catching Robin and Patrick in a passionate embrace. Robin lets them speak alone and Patrick tells Sam that he and Robin are back together.
At the hospital, Nikolas wakes up to an adamant Hayden telling him that she gave a statement to the police that will send Jason to jail for good. Liz hears this and tells Hayden she has to change her story and Nikolas has to back it up. They owe Jason his freedom and she wants them to tell the cops that it was an accident and no charges should be filed. Hayden protests but Nikolas says nothing. When alone with Hayden, he reveals he was more lucid during that conversation than he let on – and that he is weighing his options about whether a jailed or a free Jason serves them best.
Michael tells Sabrina there is no hope for them being together or for him to help her raise a son that she tried to pass off as his. He hands her gifts he’d bought for the baby before he knew the truth and they officially call it off.
Later, Lulu and Johnny discuss the plan to make Valerie look corrupt. Lulu feels she’s fighting for her family and Johnny is willing to do her dirty work despite his own rekindled feelings for her.
Meanwhile Dante tells Valerie that things are better between him and Lulu. Valerie takes the initiative and ends the relationship – she does not want to pursue things with Dante any further.
It’s New Year’s Eve in Port Charles and Sonny and Carly plan to ring in 2016 at home. Dante and Michael, both without dates, stop by. Michael tells his parents that he’s planning to see Sabrina later… but privately reveals to Dante that they broke up. Meanwhile, Jason arrives, wanting to pay Sonny back his bail money. Sonny tries to refuse, but Jason insists. Carly heads off to get some champagne… but when she returns, she finds smiling Sonny… moving his leg.
Nina and Franco ring in the New Year with a kiss, Franco suggests they go home…, as he wants to make love to her. Later, Johnny also shows up at the Haunted Star, as Lulu notes he’s taking a big chance appearing in public. He mentions he’ll leave town once their Valerie project is over. At the last seconds of 2015 count down, Johnny kisses Lulu ring in the New Year with a kiss, Franco suggests they go home…, as he wants to make love to her. Later, Johnny also shows up at the Haunted Star, as Lulu notes he’s taking a big chance appearing in public. He mentions he’ll leave town once their Valerie project is over.
Having dropped Emma off at a sleepover, Patrick returns home to Robin, who gives him a perpetual calendar. She explains it’s because they have the rest of their lives ahead of them. Patrick wonders if Robin is saying what he thinks she’s saying, as he proposes… and they happily each accept the other’s proposal. Patrick leads Robin to the bedroom, where they make tender love, celebrating both the New Year and their reunion.
Meanwhile, as 2015 ends, returning Valerie and Dillon kiss, as Michael and Kristina toast to a better 2016… and Sam and Jason, enjoying their pool game, suddenly find themselves very close together.
