Justina Adorno is a Bronx native but grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. She is the oldest of four siblings and has always had a passion for the performing arts and higher education. Growing up, Adorno excelled in magnet programs including a middle school leadership program that introduced her to the theater world. In high school, she participated in a performing arts-focused program, which eventually led to enrolling in a boarding school at South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities for drama. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from Coastal Carolina University, Adorno landed her first agent and returned home to her roots in New York.
Over the past few years, she has appeared in national commercials including Warner's Bra, Fempire for Lifetime and Hydroxycut, to name a few. In 2016, she was selected to participate in the New York City NBC Diversity Showcase where she was discovered and signed by JHA Management and Andreadis Talent. Soon after, Adorno went on to secure roles in the feature film Shotgun, Starz drama series Sweetbitter and Netflix's Seven Seconds.
Adorno will next be seen in ABC's bold and provocative drama Grand Hotel from executive producer Eva Longoria, starring opposite Demián Bichir and Roselyn Sanchez. In addition to acting, she continues to pursue her passion to direct and is in the process of developing a series of her own. She is also an outspoken animal rights activist and practices veganism.
During her free time, Adorno works with a nonprofit animal rescue group called Little Wanderers NYC. To date, she has rescued five kittens and cats off of her childhood streets in the Bronx, including her two cats Catsby and Penni. She hopes to continue to do her part within the animal rescue community to help save many animals and find them permanent homes.
