Grey’s Anatomy Midseason Premiere: Meredith Attacked in New Promo

TGIT makes its return in exactly one month and that could only mean one thing: Grey's Anatomy returns soon! The second half of the season kicks off with Season 12, Episode 9, "The Sound of Silence" -- and it's guaranteed to be a highly emotional one! In the Winter Finale, "Things We Lost in the Fire", gossip and speculation continued to spread through the hospital about what happened between Owen and Riggs, the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial are distracted when the hospital is inundated by firefighters injured while battling a wildfire and Bailey must manage her first crisis in her new role as Chief. In the midst of the highly emotional atmosphere, Maggie struggles to keep things with intern Andrew professional at work. Meanwhile, Jo is questioning Alex's priorities and friendship with Meredith, while Alex is preparing to ask Jo a question of his own.
