Actor Biography

An actress since the age of nine, Liza Weil made her feature film debut in Whatever, which premiered at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival. Other films include Lasse Hallstrom's Cider House Rules; Stir of Echos, alongside Kevin Bacon; Year of the Dog, with John C. Reilly and Laura Dern; Neal Cassady, with Tate Donovan and Amy Ryan; Frenemy, with Matthew Modine and Zach Galifianakis; and the motion-capture feature film Mars. Liza most recently collaborated on the upcoming experimental feature Situation Is Liquid, with longtime friend and filmmaker Noah Buschel.

In television, Liza is most widely recognized for her series regular role as Paris Geller on The Gilmore Girls. She reprised this role in the recent highly anticipated Gilmore Girl miniseries on Netflix. Her guest starring credits include The West Wing, Grey's Anatomy, ER, In Plain Sight, Law & Order, Eleventh Hour, CSI and Private Practice. Most recently, Liza has recurred on Scandal and Bunheads, and she stars in How to Get Away with Murder, from showrunner/executive producer Pete Nowalk and executive producer Shonda Rhimes.
