Nominations for the 70th Emmy® Awards were announced today by the Television Academy in a ceremony hosted by Television Academy Chairman and CEO Hayma Washington along with Samira Wiley and Ryan Eggold. How To Get Away With Murder star Viola Davis received her fourth Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her role as Annalise Keating, this time as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her appearance on Scandal during the TGIT crossover event. Cicely Tyson, who plays Annalise Keating's mother, Ophelia Harkness, was also nominated in the same category for her appearance in the crossover event, marking her third nomination for the role. The 2018 Emmy Awards will telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, September 17, (8:00 - 11:00 PM ET/5:00 - 8:00 PM PT) on NBC. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost and Michael Che will serve as co-hosts.
