Sean Connoly and Caitlin Botsios founded Helix Cafe to employ people 16-24 in an attempt to help lower the youth unemployment rate in Chicago. The cafe provides jobs to youth and puts them in a program to help them learn the skills needed to work in a coffee shop as well as other interpersonal and professional skills to succeed in high school, college and their future careers.
