Dominic Cooper

Actor Biography

Born in Greenwich, London, England and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Dominic Cooper is best known for his role as Sky in the 2005 film adaptation of Mamma Mia!

Cooper’s extensive body of work includes roles in television, film, theater and radio. He starred in 2008’s The Duchess as Charles Grey opposite Keira Knightley and also appears as Danny in An Education. In 2011, he became a box office sensation as Howard Stark in Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger. Other film credits include starring in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter with Benjamin Walker and Rufus Sewell, and My Week with Marilyn alongside Michelle Williams.
