Mitch and Cam: The Clown Wars

On the Modern Family episode "The Big Guns," Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) is upset when he learns that Cam (Eric Stonestreet) has been taking Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) for clown lessons behind his back. 

ANNOUNCING: FIZBO AND LIZBO 

Cam suggests that if Lizbo (the completely inappropriate clown name he's given Lily) can't make Mitch laugh, then she'll give up clowning for good. The trouble is, Mitch does laugh, but only when Lily goes off-script and gets violent.

BEWARE THE CLOWN

Soon, Lily is attacking Cam at every opportunity when he least expects it, then jumping out and shouting, "Wah wah." Cam is soon a nervous wreck and Mitch has to sit Lily down for a talk about Not Hurting Daddy. He's surprised by Lily's confession that she actually hates being a clown and he's more surprised by how she breaks the news to Cam. At the end of the episode, they're both very proud of their little girl. (Who takes after each of them, naturally.)
