A Directing Winner at 32
2016 - In 2017, Damien Chazelle broke an 85-year-old record to become the youngest Directing winner in the history of the Oscars. The previous record holder was Norman Taurog, who won for the 1931 film SKIPPY. Chazelle was younger by 220 days when he won.
