In addition to her starring role as FBI recruit Shelby Wyatt on ABC's Quantico, Johanna can be seen on Lifetime's UnREAL, a critically acclaimed dramatic series about what goes on behind-the-scenes in a dating reality competition in which she stars opposite Constance Zimmer, Shiri Appleby and Freddie Stroma. Braddy recently completed production on a feature film with Taylor Lautner titled Run the Tide, to be released later in 2015.
The daughter of a music teacher and an engineer, Braddy was raised with a focus on drama and music which compelled her to move to Los Angeles after graduating from high school. She immediately found success as both a voiceover and theatrical actress — booking roles in projects such as Surf's Up for Sony, Avatar: The Last Airbender for Nickelodeon and The Riches for FX.
In 2009, Braddy landed a recurring role on ABC Family's Greek, a role for which she is still recognized and one that helped put her on the map as a hot up-and-comer. Following her work on Greek, Braddy continued to work regularly for the next four years booking roles on films such as Fame, Easy A, The Grudge 3, Paranormal Activity 3, and Hit the Floor, as well as television series including Shameless, Southland and many more.
In 2012, Braddy was cast as Jenny Matrix in the groundbreaking web series Video Game High School. Among the first of its kind, the series was a huge success and has received over 1 billion views. It is regularly credited as the series that solidified the digital space as a platform for professionally produced serial content. The series aired its 3rd and final season in 2014.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Braddy currently resides in Burbank, California.
