Bachelor Spoilers & Highlights: Week 6

When we last saw Bachelor Chris Soules, he was canceling the cocktail party in Santa Fe, NM, thereby depriving the bachelorettes of one of the mainstays of last-ditch emotional connection on The Bachelor. Kelsey was in the middle of a panic attack, crying on the floor. Basically, it was romance everywhere. On to the clips!

The Kelsey Conundrum: Chris said that he had already made up his mind when he canceled the Rose Ceremony. So who did he decide to send home? Watch and find out:

Chris and Carly Visit a Sex Guru|It's pretty awkward for a first date.|Chris and Carly's 1-on-1 date in New Mexico includes a trip to a sex guru, which they both find to be a fairly uncomfortable experience given the fact that this is their first date. But they still manage to have some sweet moments between the two of them. From Week 5 of the 2015 season of The Bachelor.

Chris Gives Kelsey a Rose|Her plan works just like she hoped it would.|Samantha and Mackenzie fret over the possibility of being sent home as Chris prepares to hand out the final rose. After Kelsey gets the final rose, the remaining bachelorettes question the wisdom of Chris's decision and make it clear how they feel about Kelsey. From Week 6 of the 2015 season of The Bachelor.

The Sound of Music: The gals were tasked with writing and performing a song for Chris on the group date in Deadwood, South Dakota. No big deal. Especially after they were treated to Chris's song about his life as The Bachelor. To be fair, Chris did not make any bold claims about his singing ability, and performed his song to break the ice for the ladies. It's a lot cuter when you keep that in mind:

Chris Sings to the Ladies|He gets an A for effort at least.|Chris Soules takes the stage in Deadwood, SD, to sing a country song he wrote for the bachelorettes. Country stars Big & Rich are there to witness it as well, and they feel pretty sure that Chris won't be stealing their spotlight anytime soon. From Week 6 of the 2015 season of The Bachelor.

Luckily there were some real country stars in Deadwood to represent: Big & Rich played a show in town, and Chris dragged Britt away from the group date to have some intimate 1-on-1 time with her... on stage at their show. As you can imagine, the other ladies on the group date weren't big fans of this maneuver, but it's hard to deny these two are adorable together:

Chris and Britt with Big & Rich|The pair takes the stage with the country music stars.|Chris Soules and Britt takes the stage with the country music stars for Britt's first country music experience. (Not bad.) While they're up there, Chris gives her a rose, and then the pair joins the band to sing "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)."

Kelsey's Defense: The girls have had many conversations about Kelsey, especially regarding the legitimacy of her panic attack given how quickly she recovered and the convenient opening it gave her to once again call for Chris and squeeze in more alone time with him. They finally confronted her about her behavior -- here's what she had to say:

The Ladies Confront Kelsey|Kelsey apologizes for her behavior -- but does she mean it?|"I get it. I am blessed with eloquence, and I'm articulate, and I use a lot of big words -- because I'm smart." Kelsey defends her behavior to the other women in the house, but her confessional makes it unclear whether she really means it. From Week 6 of the 2015 season of The Bachelor.

Showdown in Deadwood: Becca got a 1-on-1 and it went well, the ladies had fun on the group date... blah blah blah. The big news of this episode was the 2-on-1 date: Ashley vs. Kelsey. Everyone knows someone is going home after this date. Everyone knows these two ladies don't like each other. Drama was guaranteed, and drama was delivered. To wit:

Chris Sends Ashley Home|She leaves the 2-on-1 date, leaving Kelsey with Chris.|After Ashley and Kelsey have it out, Ashley meets up again with Chris on the 2-on-1 date. He tells her that he's not sure his life path would make her happy, and sends her home. From Week 6 of the 2015 season of The Bachelor.

...which was closely followed by:

It was yet another week with no Rose Ceremony, but certainly no lack of drama. Tune in SUNDAY FEB 15 8|7c to watch this week's special two-night event that will carry the women to Arlington, Iowa, as well as their own hometowns.
