Bachelor Spoilers & Highlights: Week 6
When we last saw Bachelor Chris Soules, he was canceling the cocktail party in Santa Fe, NM, thereby depriving the bachelorettes of one of the mainstays of last-ditch emotional connection on The Bachelor. Kelsey was in the middle of a panic attack, crying on the floor. Basically, it was romance everywhere. On to the clips!
The Kelsey Conundrum: Chris said that he had already made up his mind when he canceled the Rose Ceremony. So who did he decide to send home? Watch and find out:
The Sound of Music: The gals were tasked with writing and performing a song for Chris on the group date in Deadwood, South Dakota. No big deal. Especially after they were treated to Chris's song about his life as The Bachelor. To be fair, Chris did not make any bold claims about his singing ability, and performed his song to break the ice for the ladies. It's a lot cuter when you keep that in mind:
Luckily there were some real country stars in Deadwood to represent: Big & Rich played a show in town, and Chris dragged Britt away from the group date to have some intimate 1-on-1 time with her... on stage at their show. As you can imagine, the other ladies on the group date weren't big fans of this maneuver, but it's hard to deny these two are adorable together:
Kelsey's Defense: The girls have had many conversations about Kelsey, especially regarding the legitimacy of her panic attack given how quickly she recovered and the convenient opening it gave her to once again call for Chris and squeeze in more alone time with him. They finally confronted her about her behavior -- here's what she had to say:
Showdown in Deadwood: Becca got a 1-on-1 and it went well, the ladies had fun on the group date... blah blah blah. The big news of this episode was the 2-on-1 date: Ashley vs. Kelsey. Everyone knows someone is going home after this date. Everyone knows these two ladies don't like each other. Drama was guaranteed, and drama was delivered. To wit:
