Georgina Haig will next be seen playing Dr. Sophie Forbin, a virologist and vital member of the government team. She is inquisitive, driven and has her own personal reasons for researching the Apex phenomenon and what it could mean to the future of science on ABC's The Crossing.
Previously, she landed the coveted role of Queen Elsa of Arendelle, the iconic character from Disney's Frozen, on ABC's hit series Once Upon a Time. On the big screen, Haig has starred in several films, including the thriller Crawl, for which she won Best Actress at Screamfest, the horror truck tale Road Kill, Wasted on the Young alongside Alex Russell, the feel-good musical The Sapphires with Chris O' Dowd and the drug-smuggling drama The Mule, written by fellow Aussie Leigh Whannell.
Haig's other television credits include a series regular role on the CBS limited summer series Reckless, a season-long arc as Etta Bishop on Fringe for producer Akiva Goldsman, and co-starring as Paula Yates in the miniseries Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS, for which she won an Award of Excellence for Supporting Actress in this season's Accolade Global Film Competition. Haig was also seen in the Syfy miniseries Childhood's End and recurred on CBS's series Limitless as Piper, executive produced by Bradley Cooper.
