Liam James

Actor Biography

Liam James is a young actor well on his way to becoming one of Hollywood’s most sought-after talents, with notable roles in both film and television.

James recently wrapped the independent film Speech and Debate from director Dan Harris, in which he will play the lead role of Solomon, opposite Wendi McLendon-Covey, Janeane Garofalo and Kal Penn. James was first elevated to stardom when he appeared in the Sundance smash The Way, Way Back, written and directed by Oscar-winning scribes Nat Faxon and Jim Rash (The Descendants). James’ other film credits include Roland Emmerich’s 2012 opposite John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover and Woody Harrelson.

On the TV side, James appeared in the AMC and Netflix crime drama The Killing as Mireille Enos’ son, Jack Linden. The actor’s other television credits include the USA hit series Psych, in which he played the younger version of James Roday’s psychic detective character, Shawn Spencer.

James currently resides in Vancouver.
