Baker Biography

Growing up in a tight knit family of bakers, baking has always felt like second nature for Jeremiah. Inspired by his heritage Jeremiah uses baking as a way to connect with his Portuguese roots. One of his fondest childhood memories is kneading the dough for his Grandmother's "massa sovada" (Portuguese sweet bread). Jeremiah uses baking as a creative outlet. He is always trying something new and would describe his bakes as unique, modern and elegant. As a Juilliard trained flutist, Jeremiah shares his passion for music by teaching his students out of his privately owned music school. Outside of baking, Jeremiah and his husband are enthusiastic beekeepers, which allows him to incorporate fresh honey into his bakes.
