Candace Cameron Bure is Leaving The View

Candace Cameron Bure is leaving the The View. The actress announced the news at the top of the show on the December 8th, 2016 episode. Bure joined the talk show as a co-host in 2015. The actress and mom cited her commitments with Netflix show "Fuller House" and The Hallmark Channel, along with the frequent west to east coast commute as reasoning for the departure. Bure isn't the first co-host to announce a departure this year, Raven-Symone revealed in October her last show would be in December 2016.

"On behalf of everyone at 'The View,' it's been a pleasure working with Candace, a devoted mother, talented actress, and passionate co-host who never hesitated to speak her mind. We are thrilled for her success with 'Fuller House' and her Hallmark movies," The View executive producer Candi Carter said. "She will always be a part of 'The View' family and we will gladly welcome her back to the show to support her with all of her endeavors."
