Leslie Jones Talks "Ghostbusters" and Whoopi Goldberg on "The View"
On the Thursday July 14th, 2016 episode of The View, comedian and actress Leslie Jones talked about getting glamorous for the red carpet premiere of the new Ghostbusters 2016 film. At first she had a difficult time getting a dress but designer Christian Siriano stepped in and made her a beautiful old Hollywood gown. Leslie also shares The View co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, is her "Shero" as it meant a lot to her as a young girl to see Whoopi on TV. Leslie hopes she can be equally as inspiring by joining the Ghostbusters cast alongside Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon.
Ghostbusters hit theaters on Friday July 15, 2016. It is a new take on the 1980s film. Jimmy Kimmel recently reunited the new and original cast on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Watch the video below of both casts dancing along to the Ghostbusters theme song.
