“We need to call in our cis and straight community members and brothers and siblings to stand up.” Transgender rights activist Tiq Milan is just one of many raising their voices in support of the Black Trans Lives Matter movement—and while he knows times are difficult right now, he sees hope. “Nobody is comfortable right now. But on the other side of uncomfortable is change.”
