Grey's Anatomy Season 12 Episode 22 Sneak Peeks: Callie and Arizona Take Custody Fight to Court
Coming up on Grey's Anatomy Season 12, Episode 22, "Mama Tried" airing THURSDAY MAY 5, 8|7c, Callie and Arizona are at odds over Sofia's future, and their fight heats up when the lawyers get involved. Stephanie, who broke up with Kyle (guest star Wilmer Valderrama) when Amelia kicked her off his case, and made her wait in the waiting room during his latest surgery, is questioning the status of their relationship. Meanwhile, Alex and April work on a pregnant teen who is readmitted to Grey Sloan Memorial.
In the Grey's Anatomy sneak peek below from "Mama Tried," Callie and Arizona's lawyers attempt to broker a custody agreement to avoid taking the case to court, but neither mom is willing to accept what the other offers. At the end of a tense negotiation, there's only one way the fight is going to end: in court. Someone is definitely going to get hurt, and it's probably going to be Sofia.
In the second sneak peek from the episode, Arizona and Callie are in court, battling for custody in front of a judge. Arizona finds herself on the stand, forced to defend her role as Sofia's mother to Callie's lawyer. She gives an impassioned speech, explaining she chose to be Sofia's mother, and she's no less a mother because she adopted Sofia. But when Arizona gets a 911 call from the hospital, she must choose whether to stay and fight for custody of her daughter, or to rush to the hospital to save another child. She makes her decision, and explains why to the judge. Will it jeopardize her case? Watch what happens in the clip below:
