American Idol Duets 2019 Recap: Who Went Home? Top 14 Revealed
With the Top 20 Solos behind us, the American Idol 2019 competition moved on to All-Star Duets and the reveal of the Top 14. This week included an American Idol-first, with Bobby Bones stepping in as host for Ryan Seacrest who was sick (or "having a bad hair day," he joked). and the Top 20 were divided into two groups of 10, with each group teaming up with music stars like Pat Benatar, Brett Young, Jason Mraz, Shaggy, Elle King, Julia Michaels, Ben Harper, and more. Then it was up to judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie to choose which 14 will move on to America's Vote and which six will see their American Idol journey end.
