American Idol 2019 Recap: Top 3 Contestants Revealed
The journey to find the next superstar continued as the remaining five American Idol 2019 hopefuls left it all on the stage, singing their hearts out to win America's vote and land themselves a spot in the coveted season finale. They performed three songs each: a pick from in-house mentor, Bobby Bones; a song dedicated to their heroes in honor of Mother's Day; and a selection from Elton John's world-renowned catalog. Judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan helped celebrate and give critiques after each performance. Once again America's Vote took place during the show, with two of the Top 5 seeing their American Idol journey come to an end.
