American Music Awards 2015 Nominees: The Complete List
It’s here! The American Music Awards just released the complete list of 2015 nominees. Recording artists Joe Jonas and Charlie Puth released six categories of the AMA Nominations 2015 on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” while Snapchat and ABC News went on to reveal the remaining 17 categories. Jennifer Lopez will host and perform on the “2015 American Music Awards,” which will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22 at 8:00pm ET on ABC.
Taylor Swift leads this year with six nominations, with Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd following with five nominations each. Other heavily nominated artists include: Sam Hunt, Nicki Minaj, Sam Smith, Meghan Trainor, Walk the Moon, Jason Aldrean, Chris Brown, One Direction and more.
The Artist of the Year nominees are Luke Bryan, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor and The Weeknd. These ten nominees will be narrowed down to five with YOUR help. Visit the 2015 AMA voting page to cast your vote on who should be the next Artist of the Year! Vote before November 11 at 11:59pm ET to help select the top five nominees.
The Song of the Year nominees are Wiz Khalifa Featuring Charlie Puth “See You Again,” Mark Ronson Featuring Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk,” Ed Sheeran “Thinking Out Loud,” Taylor Swift “Blank Space,” and The Weeknd “Can’t Feel My Face.”
The American Music Awards winners are chosen entirely by fans. Voting for the AMAs opened today! So make sure you show your favorite artists some love. Fans can vote for each category once per day by doing any of the following:
- Cast your vote on AMAvote.com.
- Post a Facebook status that includes the nominee’s name and the category’s hashtag within the post(s).
- Post a tweet on Twitter with the nominee’s name or Twitter handle, the category name and #AMAs within the post.
Voting for New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl’s and Collaboration of the Year Un-leased by T-Mobile will open on November 1 at 12:01am ET. More information on voting for these categories will be provided in the coming weeks.
