Dre's Rules: The Nod and Urinal Protocol

Dre (Anthony Anderson) is a man of who believes in many unwritten rules. In Episode 3 of Season 1, "The Nod," Dre tries to explain how acknowledging other black people can bring them closer together. On the other hand, they should be as far apart as possible when it comes to urinal protocol.


Dre's Rule #1: The Nod
Dre believes that black people should nod at one another as if to say, "I see you bro," since it's a way of acknowledging one another and their "struggle."

Dre's Rule #2: Urinal Protocol
While "the struggle" is what brings black people together, they should be remain far apart when it comes to using the restroom. Proper spacing and no eye contact are important rules in proper urinal protocol.
