black-ish Renewed for Season 3 by ABC

black-ish fans, rejoice! The critically-acclaimed family comedy has been renewed for a third season on ABC. black-ish joins a long list of ABC shows returning for the 2016-2017 television season, including Modern Family, Fresh Off the Boat, The Goldbergs, and more!

The Johnson family made a splash when Season 1 of black-ish premiered, and they've kept bringing the good stuff during Season 2, balancing hilarious comedy with serious storylines like Episode 16, "Hope," an episode examining issues like police brutality and race relations through an honest lens.

Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross) are parents to four great kids, Zoey (Yara Shahidi), Junior (Marcus Scribner), and adorable twins Jack (Miles Brown) and Diane (Marsai Martin). Rounding out the family are Dre's parents, who are frequent presences at the Johnson home, Pops (Laurence Fishburne) and Ruby (Jenifer Lewis).
