Dancing with the Stars returned for week 3 without one star: Kim Zolciak Biermann was unable to fly to Los Angeles after being hospitalized for a mini-stroke. After Kim appeared via video conference to share an update on her health, Tom Bergeron had to break the news to Kim and her Pro partner Tony Dovolani that Dancing with the Stars rules dictate that anyone unable to perform must withdraw from the competition. Though Kim and Tony were disappointed to leave the show, everyone wished Kim well on her road back to good health.
