Actor Biography

The multi-talented Tony Roberts' illustrious career features two Tony Award nominations and the London Critics Poll Award for "Promises, Promises." His stellar big-screen credits include 17 motion pictures, highlighted by "Serpico"; the original "Taking Of Pelham, One, Two, Three"; and six films written by Woody Allen, including "Annie Hall" and "Play It Again, Sam." His stage credits include 23 Broadway shows, including two plays authored by Woody Allen, "Scrooge" at Madison Square Garden and "Brigadoon" and "South Pacific" for The New York City Opera Company at Lincoln Center. He has appeared in four television series and recorded over 50 audio books, including the long running Stone Barrington series by Stuart Woods.

Roberts was born in Manhattan, graduated from The High School of Music & Art and Northwestern University.
