5 Reasons Why You Cannot Miss Galavant

5 Reasons Why You Cannot Miss Galavant

In case you missed it,  Galavant Season 2 will returned SUNDAY JAN 3 8|7c with more laughs, music and fun! Here are 5 reasons why you cannot miss this hilarious musical comedy.

1. The Cast

Galavant (Joshua Sasse), Madalena (Mallory Jansen), King Richard (Timothy Omundson) and Isabella (Karen David) have made us fall in love with their quirky characters. What blatant hint will Galavant not pick up on from Isabella next? What snarky comment will Madalena make to show her repulsion for her King?  You will have to tune in on SUNDAYS 8|7c to find out!

To make some money for their journey, Galavant enters a jousting tournament against his old rival Sir Jean Hamm (guest star John Stamos). When Isabella realizes Galavant isn't ready to win the competition, she takes matters into her own hands and becomes his trainer for the big tournament.

2. The Songs

Who knew that there was a song for settling in a relationship? Disney composer Alan Menken teamed up with lyricist Glenn Slater and the result was Galavant magic!

Madalena and King Richard as well as Galavant and Isabella, realize that they’re not as disgusted with each other as they thought in “Worst Thing Ever.” We can't wait to hear more this season!

4. The Comedy!

Aside from the ridiculous and hilarious antics of Galavant in his quest to win back Madalena's heart, where else will you find characters named King Dick? After getting some lessons from the Jester, King Richard tries his hand at stand-up comedy. We can't wait to see what ridiculous idea the king concocts next!

5. The Love Story

With all of the comedy and song, it's easy to forget that Galavant contains one of the greatest love stories in the land. After spending countless hours traveling with Galavant, Isabella has fallen for him and Galavant has been painfully slow in taking the hint.

Gareth (Vinnie Jones) frees King Richard from the dungeon and also takes Galavant for good measure, but not before the knight and Isabella finally kiss. In Season 2, the princess is in danger! Can Galavant save the day? Tune in and see!
