Actor Biography

Daytime Emmy Award-nominated actress Kelly Monaco originated the role of "Samantha 'Sam' McCall" in October 2003. She grew up in Philadelphia - participating in various sports that included soccer, swimming, track and softball. Somehow, she also managed to find time for other high school extracurriculars like debate and theater. Monaco made her television debut on BAYWATCH in 1997. She went on to win the inaugural season of DANCING WITH THE STARS. Her screen credits also include: PORT CHARLES, SPIN CITY, IDLE HANDS, MUMFORD, and BASKETBALL. Kelly is involved in numerous children's charity events and programs for the elderly. She resides in Los Angeles.
