Actress Maura West created the role of Ava Jerome in 2013. Prior to joining GENERAL HOSPITAL, West was best known for her 15-year portrayal of "Carly Snyder" on AS THE WORLD TURNS. Maura currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and their children.
