Welcome to the How to Get Away with Murder Recap of Season 2 Episode 13, "Someting Bad Happened" (Original Airdate Thursday, March 3, 2016).  Annalise moves forward with a plan to protect the team from Philip but the risk involved may prove to be too dangerous. Meanwhile, Wes continues to search for new information regarding his mother's death. In flashback, the Mahoney case takes a drastic turn for Annalise's client.

Annalise Gets Her Team Immunity
While trying to get immunity for everyone, Annalise almost falls into the prosecutor's trap.  She immediately calls Bonnie and makes the prosecutor think they are destroying evidence before the house can be searched.  Bonnie and the team call the prosecutor's office to make them believe the search and seizure warrant has been signed.  The immunity will help relieve pressure on the team but no one knows what else Philip filmed.

Eve Confirms that Annalise is Ready
Eve Rothlo (Guest Star Famke Janssen) comes over to tell Annalise that Rose plans to testify.  She reassures Annalise that she's going to be a great mother.  Annalise reveals that she's expecting a boy with Sam. 

The Truth About Rose's Death
Annalise visits Wes' mother, Rose, at her apartment to tell her that she will be protected in every circumstance.  After she tells Rose that Mahoney threatened Christophe, Rose takes control of the situation and stabs herself in the neck.  Annalise hides in the hallway when she hears Christophe return home.  Annalise flees the scene as Christophe removes the knife and calls 911.

The End of Frank and Laurel's Relationship
Frank tells Laurel that he loves her.  Laurel can't get over the fact he murdered Lila Stangard and kept it a secret from her.  Laurel tells Frank that she doesn't love him back.  She promises to keep his secret from everyone else.

 

The Surprise Guest at Wes' Apartment
After seeing someone grab the note she placed under the door, Annalise enters Wes' apartment to talk to him.  Eve calls Annalise to tell her that Wes is waiting to talk her in her apartment lobby.  Annalise tells Eve to call the police right before Philip grabs her from under the bed.

Laurel Wants to Know What Frank is Hiding|Laurel wants Frank to tell her everything.|After telling Frank (Charlie Weber) that Wes was the one that shot Annalise, Laurel (Karla Souza) doesn't want to keep any secrets from him. She wants to know all the bad things he's done. Before she leaves his apartment, Frank reveals that he's the one that killed Lila Stangard.
