Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's "All in the Family" and "The Jeffersons" Nominated for 2019 Emmy Awards

Nominations for the 71st Emmy® Awards were announced today by the Television Academy and Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's "All in the Family" and "The Jeffersons" received three nominations, including for Outstanding Variety Special (Live). Celebrity presenters Ken Jeong and D'Arcy Carden announced the nominations this morning.

The special was also nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special and Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special. Jimmy Kimmel co-hosted the special with TV legend Norman Lear (creator of All in the Family and The Jeffersons), and Kimmel's Jimmy Kimmel Live! was also nominated for a 2019 Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series.

The 2019 Emmy Awards will telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 22, (8:00 - 11:00 PM ET/5:00 - 8:00 PM PT) on FOX.
