In Episode 3 of Modern Family Season 6, "The Cold," Coach Cam (Eric Stonestreet) valiantly tries to help Manny (Rico Rodriguez) with kicking. Kick after kick, Manny is unable to connect with the ball, while Cam is hesitant to connect with Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) because he's afraid of sharing the bad news with the proud parents.
