The City of Bellaire, Texas recently held a week of parades involving fire, police, and public works employees. Bellaire officials say it was their way to thank the community, but the community insists it was their chance to say thank you to first responders. Police cars, fire trucks and more drove through a different part of the city each day from April 20 -24, as members of the community stood in their front yards with camera phones, signs, waves and big smiles!
