Murray Makes His First Friend

Murray Goldberg (Jeff Garlin) doesn't have any close friends in his life.  The people he considers friends are people that work for him (Vic and the Sandwich Guy).  In order to show Pops (George Segal) that he can make friends and help Barry get closer to his girlfriend Lainey, Murray reaches out to Bill (Lainey's Dad) to set up a meetup.  In Season 2, Episode 23 "Bill/Murray" of The Goldbergs, Murray doesn't know the first thing to friendship and relies on help from Pops and Barry.

Eventually his friendship with Bill becomes deep and Murray doesn't want to talk about feelings.  Unfortunately, Murray has nowhere to hide when Bill pays a visit to the furniture store.
