Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Courtney would describe his baking style to have a strong southern influence. From shadowing his grandmother in the kitchen as a kid, Courtney naturally fell in love with the baking world. In the kitchen Courtney is always disciplined and dedicated. These are habits he has learned from being a professionally trained Opera singer. Outside of baking, Courtney can be found conducting his local church choir in Harlem, NY.  Although eager to share his latest bakes at his practices, Courtney isn't shy to admit the ladies in his church choir are his biggest critics.
