Cake and Bread Week Leads off Season 5 of "The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition"

Set your oven timers, America: The two-hour season five premiere of The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition airs THURSDAY DEC 12 9|8c on ABC! The hit holiday show that always gets your mouth watering will begin next Thursday as 10 bakers begin to vie for the title of of "America's Best Amateur Baker" by whipping up cakes and breads for the esteemed judges.

And just who might these judges be, you ask? None other than Paul Hollywood (baked good connoisseurs will recognize Paul from The Great British Baking Show) and three-time James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Sherry Yard, who returns for her second year on the show. Hosts Emma Bunton (of the Spice Girls) and former NFL pro Anthony "Spice" Adams will keep you updated on all the delicious action.
