It's a new season at The View and it's time for a little upgrade behind the scenes. Sara Haines and Paula Faris share a dressing room, it needed a little help … OK, a lot of help! I had the pleasure of giving their room a fun and fabulous makeover.

Here are a few of those fast, fun and frugal ideas used in the room. Perfect for apartment dwellers, dorm rooms, or even your office.
The key with a smaller room is to go BIG with art, like I did with the screen behind the sofa. It can get expensive buying large art, so choosing a room divider as art for a wall, is affordable and impactful. I added visual height to the room with gold removable wall stripes. Any opportunity you can draw the eye upward is a good thing.

A bold rug gives any room excitement! This rug is a machine washable area rug that comes as a two-part system. Perfect for kids' rooms, pet owners, and these two busy ladies.
Special personalized moments like a wall decal or pillows make an area feel more thoughtful. Monograms or initials implemented into any designed space gives a custom touch.
Adding a mirrored tray on top of a smaller end table creates a coffee table! And it's also easy to slide the tray to the side when needed.
Window treatments are always a great way to add visual warmth to any space. Just be sure to keep the fabric light and airy in a small room so the natural light can still filter in.
A pop of luxury can make any space feel glam — placing a faux fur on a love seat gives a basic piece of furniture new life.
Shopping can be fun but also expensive. I still love the hunt at local resale shops. Finding items like a tray or other accents adds rich history to a room with out the rich budget.
I hope these tips have inspired you for your next design project.
